"in Marken" - Pension and Camping

Welcome „in MARKEN“

„in MARKEN“ is the name of our country home in the village of Studená. Studená is situated not far from the well-known historical town of Telč, in the Czech Republic. Our premises include a pension, called „de SMID“ and a small campsite called „ BEEMSTER“.

Everything is located on a lovely piece of land on a lakeside.

The pension has 6 spatial rooms with standard fittings for 4 persons. One of them is barrier-free. The campsite offers place for 5-7 tents or caravans to put up or park among fruit trees. By 2010 a roofed and heated terrace should be completed for guests to sit down and have a meal or drink.

What can we offer

Summer: Studená is a good starting point for a variety of interesting destinations. These include, for instance, Telč, Český Krumlov, and České Budějovice. Moreover, both Prague and Vienna, Austria, are situated within the 150 km distance. The surroundings of Studená are interwoven with cycling trails suitable for both recreational and able-bodied cyclists. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information. In case of interest, we can get suitable bikes for you against a small fee. There are also charming and exciting tourist trails in the area.

Winter: You need not come in summer only in order to have a great time... Our pension is ready to receive you in winter too. With satisfactory snow conditions, a simple 300m long skiing slope with a ski lift, suitable for beginners and children, is situated in close vicinity of the pension. For more experienced skiers there is a ca. 600m long slope with double ski lift in Mrákotín (12 km). Both slopes provide space for snowboarding. And... both of them naturally offer pleasant winter-sport atmosphere along with small refreshments. Cross-country skiing tracks in the surroundings of Studená are well-maintained and marked. Complete outfits and equipment to enjoy a fantastic time on the snow can be rented from a professional rental and ski service shop in Kunžak. We can always lend you a hand.

Our premises and their vicinity invite you to activities such as camp fire, swimming, fishing, rowing and genuine old Dutch games. Just the right amount of relaxation and fun.
